Lincoln

Lincoln is 18 months old and into everything.... climbing, pointing, running, exploring and often finding comfort in mom and dad's arms. At this age children start to explore and find independence and it becomes a whole new chapter for mom and dad in keeping up. So I loved documenting this time for Aimee and Kelly. They are wonderful parents and Aimee is a creative soul and Kelly is gentle, funny and they both interact and engage with him and its beautiful to watch. I loved the running back and forth, playing with shoe strings or finding rocks in the water. We had so much fun with them even in the Oklahoma heat! Enjoy!

Personal- Kids

Here are some photographs of my children this summer. My daughter Izzy is 17 months and has been the center of my camera's universe... I often catch her outside in our backyard sitting in a chair or putting her kitten/ball in it or wearing my reading glasses. She is often moving to fast for us hence the name, "Busy, Izzy." Miles is all boy and we had been out late one night in the HEAT of oklahoma and he had sat down to rest, although red faced I caught him looking out...

A girl and her horse

have always had a interest in horses but never grew up around them. I always wanted to photograph one but never had the opportunity. We had done Kristen's senior photographs years ago and ran into her again and she told us about her horse. Miles was able to ride her horse, Fawn and Miles and I feel in love with her. She is a Palomino Appaloosa that Kristen has had since she was a baby and has raised, rode and taken care of her over the last 8 years. She asked us to photograph them together and we had so much fun! I learned so much and hope to do it again. They have such a sweet relationship and it was an honor to document.

Baby Miles

I was asked by a good friend to take photographs of her new baby boy. In the midst of remodeling and moving I was SO glad to be able to get away w/ my camera and document. These are some of my favorites from the shoot. This is their fourth BOY and I know as a mom she was wanting to get every moment knowing it may be the last.

The Paddocks are such a great family. It had been 5 years since I had seen them and the boys have GROWN! It is crazy how the time flies by! This was a sample Christmas Card I had made up for them. Enjoy!

Well, snow days do this... my main job is to stay at home with my great kids but every once in a while people ask for me to take photos of them. Before the holidays I was asked to take some family photos. This is the Connell Family whom I have known for a long time and have done family photos for in the past. It was so cool to get to spent time with them again.... so glad for snow days that push me to finally post them... enjoy!
